PETER GIRARD INVESTIGATIVE AWARD

In an effort to promote awareness and participation in export related vehicle theft investigations, the North American Export Committee developed the Peter Girard Investigative Award. This award recognizes and highlights outstanding export related auto theft investigations conducted in North America by groups or individuals.

This award is dedicated to the memory of Peter Girard, U.S. Customs Service Supervisory Agent and NAEC member.

Nominations are accepted from individuals and groups, public and private organizations and citizens for investigations that result in the prevention, recovery of, and or arrests of individuals or groups involved the exportation of stolen vehicles from North America. This is designated for investigators, but not limited to law enforcement agencies and may include task forces, private industry and partnerships thereof. The activity must be investigative in nature.

Applicants are requested to complete the award application and provide a brief description, with supporting documentation, of the investigation.
